oBuds Max are an all new type of headphone from Orange. They’re our first model that is designed to fit over your head and cover the ears. We’ve developed advanced new technologies for these headphones to make them our most advanced oBuds yet.
Design
oBuds Max are made out of high quality aluminum and nylon composite. The frame is made of aluminum, it’s designed to be bendable yet strong and light. The aluminum frame runs into the headband, adding extra strength underneath its 100% recycled fabric. The ear cups are made from lightweight nylon composite, reducing the weight of the overall headphones.
Buttons
oBuds Max is equipped with two buttons, a Digital Crown to turn music up and down without having to touch your device, and a button to activate Mango, turn the headphones off, and perform actions like skip, replay, and pause/play.
Listening Experience
oBuds Max feature the H2 chip, introduced with oBuds (3rd generation) just earlier this month. H2 brings along with it the more immersive and more efficient 2nd generation Spatial Audio, Head Tracking, and the much more efficient 2nd gen Talk Louder, which amplifies voices for you to hear. oBuds Max features the most immersive listening experience possible. With improved active noise cancellation and transparency mode, oBuds Max deliver an up to 60% more immersive experience compared to oBuds Pro.
Lossless Playback
Beginning with PhoneOS 4.1, lossless audio will be available to all Orange Music users at no extra cost. oBuds already supported lossless with H2 and we’re bringing it to oBuds Max as well. Using oPlay from our software and the built in version to oBuds, we’ve been able to achieve up to 90% lossless audio. This brings high quality with you anywhere you go.
