OrangeBook Touch with a first of its kind display from Orange, available in a large, yet compact 15.4” design, built with OLED, just like OrangeBook Air and OrangeBook Pro. For fhe first time on an OrangeBook, the display has also been built with multitouch. This means, you can now simply tap the display of OrangeBook Touch to get things done, and it’s optimized throughout the entire system, by providing larger tap targets, intelligent adaptation, and refined design language.
When touched, controls and buttons within optimized apps expand their target areas, like in Search, where buttons are given more room to breathe, making everything feel more intentional. OrangeOS 13 is made to intelligently adapt between touch and traditional input methods by using a new underlying adaptation model, OrangeOS quickly adapt to touch the moment your finger taps the screen, all thanks to a much faster sensing layer, even faster than on oPhone 13 Pro. When you move back the trackpad, OrangeOS 13 and OrangeBook Touch smoothly transition back into our traditional UI. Our design language has also been refined throughout. Starting with OrangeOS 13, we’ve given buttons, actions, and backgrounds a more noticeable look, so everything feels cohesive throughout the system and designed for OrangeBook Touch, no matter how you use it.
At the top of OrangeBook Touch is the Dynamic Bubble, now available for the first time on a non-Pro OrangeBook model. Dynamic Bubble makes keeping up to date with background tasks, ongoing activities, and notifications even easier, so you never miss a beat.
Inside of the Dynamic Bubble is our fast and secure FaceUnlock sensors, alongside the same new 24MP webcam we developed for OrangeBook Air 14” and the new oDisplay.
For everyday use, the display of OrangeBook Touch is simply stunning, supporting up to 1,000 nits SDR brightness and 120Hz SmoothMotion, which makes everything feel even more responsive on the touchscreen.
Since we’re introducing an all-new input method for OrangeBook, we also saw it fit to bring another great way to use OrangeBook Touch, and that’s with Orange Pencil 3s. Our latest generation Orange Pencil 3s is remarkably capable, stunning simple, and incredibly comfortable. Just like with Portal, Orange Pencil Handoff reliably and quickly hands off the connection of Orange Pencil from oPad to OrangeBook Touch when it’s picked up and near. This means that for the first time, you can write, draw, and do so much more on OrangeBook and OrangeOS than ever before. We’ve also brought all the great features our Orange Pencil 3s to OrangeOS, including full support for Touch Window gestures, double and triple tap actions, swipe, scroll, and full support for our range of haptic feedback methods. We’ve also brought support for other great new features, all enabled by B1 inside of both OrangeBook Touch and Orange Pencil 3s, including Smart Writing Recognition, Mouse Mode and Mouse Mode Air, and AirDraw.
Inside of OrangeBook Touch is our first chip designed to go beyond X6 with even more power and capabilities, X6 Pro. X6 Pro introduces a new 18-core CPU, 22-core GPU, and 18-core NPU, driving the powerful performance and capabilities of OrangeOS 13. We’ve also brought T3 and H5, enabling our latest and greatest connectivity experiences. X6 Pro is also built with Display Engine, bringing more adaptable brightness, smoother transitions between inputs, and Reactive Shadows, driven by the new 22-core GPU. Reactive Shadows appear under your finger as you tap, hold, and swipe on the display of OrangeBook Touch, which makes the display feel more alive and personal than other touchscreen laptops. Alongside the Security Engine, X6 Pro comes together to deliver exceptional performance, all in a design that’s almost just as thin as OrangeBook Air 14”.
On the side, you’ll find Orange’s first ever USB-D port, helping to adapt to a new standard across FTU products, together with 3 Thunderbolt 5 USB-C ports, there’s so many ways to connect to OrangeBook Touch.
