Introducing OrangePhone 8 - Now with O8, Radiant XDR, a redesigned dual camera system, and more

OrangePhone 8 features an entirely redesigned dual camera system, all new O8 chip, stunning Radiant XDR displays, gradient colored glass, 3D video, and so much more.

OrangePhone 8 starts with all new displays, still in the same great 6.3” and 6.9” sizes. Both sizes adopt our stunning Radiant XDR technology to deliver up to 3,000 nits peak brightness, up to 35% brighter than OrangePhone 6, and fluid 120Hz Adaptive SmoothMotion, all while enabling a 2x more efficient always-on display. Our durable Crystallized Display 2 keeps OrangePhone 8 protected with its strong, durable, and shatter resistant design.

Inside OrangePhone 8 is the all new O8 chip. O8 features a new 7 core CPU, with up to 1.2x faster performance than O7, and an all new 6 core GPU, featuring up to 50% better graphics than O7. O8 also features a completely redesigned 16 core NPU with up to 3x faster AI performance than the previous O7 chip.

OrangePhone 8 adopts an all new camera design. The new designed replaces the large glass square with a more durable and more compact bump on bump design. The aluminum base covers the main camera housing, while still being protected by strong sapphire lens glass, now even stronger with an all new process.

The new dual camera system of OrangePhone 8 features a new 48MP main lens and new 48MP ultra-wide lens. We’ve added SmartSharp from OrangePhone 7 Pro to help enable even better results from each camera. For the main lens, SmartSharp enables up to 2x sharper images, and for the ultra-wide, SmartSharp enables up to 4x sharper images. Each camera also features improved night mode, up to 3x better than OrangePhone 6, and improved autofocus.

Thanks to the all new Camera Controller in O8, OrangePhone 8 is capable of capturing up to two simultaneous 8K streams at once. This enables 3D Video on OrangePhone for the first time. 3D Video will move with your OrangePhone when you move it during playback, allowing you to be fully immersed in your content. We’re also bringing support for 3D Video to the new Orange Sight Pro, which will also be capable of capturing and viewing 3D Video on day one. 3D Video also comes to OrangePad too, available to view on OrangePad mini (5th gen.), OrangePad Air (2nd gen.), and OrangePad Pro (X3).

OrangePhone 8 also now features an all new 24MP selfie camera, capturing more detail than ever. The new selfie camera will also support SmartSharp for when you want to capture even more detailed images.

Integrated into the O8 chip is the next generation T2 chip. T2 allows for up to 2x more reliability, thanks to being implemented directly into the SoC for the first time.

OrangePhone 8 and OrangePhone 8 Plus continue our mission to being eco-friendly by using 100% recycled cardboard in the boxes, cleaner production, a repair friendly design, reduced carbon usage, toxin free, and 97% recycled aluminum in the body of OrangePhone.

OrangePhone 8 also features next generation wireless capabilities. In addition to the super fast 11G connectivity, OrangePhone 8 is capable of more reliable satellite connectivity. The new system is up to 6x more stable than before, and is even more reliable thanks to a new Orange designed modem. This new modem is up to 23% more efficient and 1.8x more reliable than older models, enabling the fastest speeds ever in an OrangePhone.

OrangePhone 8 is the first OrangePhone truly built for a wireless future by eliminating outdated charging methods from all models across the lineup. This not only enables a larger battery, but up to 2x better water resistance as well.

Across the back of OrangePhone 8 is our all new gradient coloring method, which looks stunning across all six new colors, including Orange, Blue, Green, Silver, Gray, and Sunset, our first ever one of a kind gradient coloring going from Orange to Purple.

OrangePhone 8 starts at $699 and OrangePhone 8 Plus starts at $799.
