The new OrangeBook Pro features new 14” and 16” sizes, the power of the X4 family of chips, Dynamic Bubble, brighter Radiant XDR displays, and much more.
Our original size features the same 14” display, and our new sizes inherits the large 16” display form OrangeBook Pro. Both models now feature a Radiant XDR display, the same shipping in the next generation Sight Pro and OrangePhone 8 series, now capable of up to 1,000 nits SDR brightness and 1,600 nits HDR brightness. We’ve also expanded 120Hz SmoothMotion to our 14” size for the first time, enabling 35% smoother animation throughout OrangeOS.
Dynamic Bubble comes to all models for the first time as well. Dynamic Bubbles helps bubble up alerts, activates, and notifications, all at the top of OrangeBook Pro. So when you’re playing music, you can simply move you mouse towards the new pill cutout, and control it from there.
OrangeBook Pro also now features three chip options for the first time, with X4, X4 Pro, and X4 Max.
X4 features a 12 core CPU, with up to 50% faster CPU performance than X2, and a new 12 core GPU delivers 2x faster graphics, and Ray Tracing for the first time ever in an OrangeBook. An all new efficient thermal system keeps OrangeBook Pro cool, even under the most intense workloads. Lastly, a new 16 core NPU delivers 3x faster AI performance than the previous generation X3 chip. X4 also delivers up to 24GB of Unified Memory and up to 2TB of storage, all based on a 3nm process with up to 2x more efficiency than X3.
X4 Pro features a new 18 core CPU, with 60% faster performance than X2 Pro, and a new 24 core GPU with Ray Tracing delivers 4x faster graphics, and the same 16 core NPU as X4 delivers the 3x times faster AI performance than X3 Pro. X4 Pro also now supports up to 48GB of Unified Memory and up to 4TB of storage, the most ever In an OrangeBook Pro.
X4 Max features our largest 28 core CPU, enabling 1.3x times faster performance than X3 Max, and a new 36 core GPU with Ray Tracing delivers 1.5x faster graphics as well. We’ve even created an all new thermal system for X4 Max models as well, fusing copper and graphite together, along with larger fans to be more efficient and stronger than ever. X4 Max also features the same 16 core NPU as X4, delivering 5x faster AI performance than X2 Max models. X4 Max also features up to 128GB of Unified Memory for the first time, and supports up to 6TB of storage.
All X4 chips features additional updates like Media Engine 3, an HDR engine, on-device Ava, dynamic memory, and a new 2nd generation unified memory design. Each X4 chip also comes equipped with the new T2 wireless chip, enabling AirShare Ultra for the first time in an OrangeBook Pro.
Our 14” models now feature support for up to 23h of battery life, and 16” models feature support for up to 25h battery life, the longest ever in an OrangeBook Pro.
OrangeBook Pro is also now capable of up to 6 thunderbolt usb-c ports, allowing you to connect to numerous accessories, displays, and docks, all at once.
