Meet the all-new OrangeBook Pro

The new OrangeBook Pro features a refined new design, larger displays, the power of the X5 family of chips, longer battery life, and more.

The new OrangeBook Pro starts with two all-new displays. The 14” model of OrangeBook Pro features a larger 14.3” display, all while fitting in a more compact footprint than the previous model. The 16” model of OrangeBook Pro now features a larger 16.4” display, the largest display ever in an OrangeBook, and it fits this larger display in a nearly identical size to the previous model. And just like all models of OrangeBook Pro, the new models feature a smooth 120Hz Adaptive SmoothMotion refresh rate, 1,000 nits max brightness, and Dynamic Bubble, which looks even better surrounded by thinner bezels around the display.

We already introduced you to our first X5 chip earlier this year, equipped with a power 12-core CPU, advanced 12-core GPU, and an intelligent 18-core NPU, and today we’re adding two more chips to the X5 family of chips. X5 Pro and X5 Max join our X5 family alongside the powerful X5 and take it further than ever before.

X5 Pro starts with a new 20-core CPU, 24-core GPU, and an 18-core NPU. The new CPU is capable of up to 40% faster performance than X3 Pro. Our new GPU is also better too, enabling nearly 3x better graphics than X3 Pro, thanks to advanced features like Ray Tracing. Lastly, the new 18-core NPU enables over 2.3x faster AI performance than X3 Pro.

X5 Max goes beyond X5 and X5 Pro, featuring a 30-core CPU, 40-core GPU, and 18-core NPU. Compared to X3 Max, X5 Max features a 2x faster CPU, a 3.4x better GPU with Ray Tracing, and delivers 1.5x faster AI performance.

And of course, our entire X5 series of chips features support for beloved features like Ava Intelligence 3, Media Engine 4, our 3rd generation Unified Memory design, a more efficient 3 nanometer process, support for Thunderbolt 5 accessories, and built in support for T2 and AirShare Ultra. Each X5 chip has also been built with H4 for the first time, enabling Spatial Audio and lossless audio streaming when using H4 equipped devices like the new oBuds Max.

The new OrangeBook Pro has also been built with our own custom wifi chip, a custom cellular modem with support for 12G, E-SIM compatibility, and even longer all day battery life.

The new OrangeBook Pro is available in two great colors, Silver and Gray.

The new OrangeBook Pro with X5 will start from $1.599, with X5 Pro from $2,199, and with X5 Max from $3,599, and for the first time, the entire suite of chips will be available across both sizes of OrangeBook Pro. You can pre-order OrangeBook Pro today, and it’ll be available next week.

OrangeBook Pro joins the OrangeBook lineup alongside OrangeBook SE, at a lower price of $699, and OrangeBook Air, the best selling 14" laptop in it's class.
