Today, Orange announced its 3rd generation software updates, PhoneOS 3, PadOS 3, WatchOS 3, and OrangeOS 3.
PhoneOS 3 key features
Lock Screen:
- New default font
- Bubbles for Lock Screen (Weather, Battery, and oMessage)
- 4 new fonts
Notification:
- Now goes from lightest shade to darkest shade
Always-on display:
- Outline option for time and notifications
- More energy efficient by up to 1.3x
Mango:
- More compact design
oMessage:
- Redesigned and simpler
- App dock for quick access to your most used oMessage apps
System:
- Select blue, pink, red, yellow, gray, or green to replace the orange accent colors.
Home Screen:
- New brightly colored icons
- Place a Bubble along with your apps
Multitasking:
- Split screen between two apps and swipe up and hold to see supported multitasking apps
Search:
- A new cleaner, less cluttered design
oMusic:
- New gradient backgrounds that match the album art
Settings:
- Updated corner radius and larger images

PadOS 3 key features
Lock Screen:

- Now you can tap or turn off notification shelf to allow for quicker access to notifications
Always on display:
- New outline option for the time
Mango:
- More compact design
Home Screen:
- New brightly colored icons
- Place a Bubble among your apps
Multitasking:
- You can now split screen between three app windows
- When in portrait, split screen not goes on the top and bottom instead of side to side
Multiple profile:
- Profile pictures
PadOS 3 is compatible with
- OrangePad (1st generation)
- OrangePad 2
- OrangePad mini (1st generation)
- OrangePad Pro (1st generation)
oTV models will receive updates when PadOS does.
WatchOS 3 key features
Watch faces:
- 20 new colors
- 4 new fonts
- Photos face now moves the time up to display more of the photo
- Mango face now can have a background selected
Mango:
- Responds quicker
- More compact design
- Less sensitive to accidental triggers while doing a workout
WatchOS 3 is compatible with
- OrangeWatch (1st generation)
- OrangeWatch V2
OrangeOS 3 key features
Lock Screen:

Desktop:
- Dock now adapts between light and dark mode
Mango:
- New design that allows you to click to speak or type to Mango
Multitasking:
- Stacks now keeps your current windows open larger and shows group windows on the left
- You can now create multiple desktops

oDisplay models will receive updates when OrangeOS does.
We announced a new set of oBuds, oBuds (2nd generation). The new oBuds feature longer battery life, sweat and water resistance, spatial audio, three new colors, a thinner, less obvious stem, and the H1 chip for faster Mango and voice support.
We also announced a promise to bring more power to our computers.
We will begin transitioning our computers to a new lineup of silicon. The new silicon line Will bring unrivaled performance, efficiency, and power to Orange computers. The transition to these new chips will begin soon, and the the first computers to ship with them will be available later this Spring.
