OrangePad Pro now features new displays on both sizes. Each display is an all new mini-LED panel, providing rich color, high quality HDR, and deep, dark blacks. The displays are a huge jump compared to the previous LCD. The 11.1” and 12.8” panels run at the same smooth 120Hz refresh rate, making everything you do on OrangePad and PadOS super smooth.
To take advantage of the 120Hz refresh rate and your own creativity, we’ve brought Orange Pencil to OrangePad Pro. With Orange Pencil, you can unleash your creativity with suite of drawing apps created since it’s launch. Using the advanced displays of OrangePad Pro, Orange Pencil appears smoother and more responsive compared to other OrangePads.
OrangePad Pro also now features the X2 chip. X2 brings a high speed 8 core CPU and 8 core GPU powering OrangeBook Air. The CPU is up to 23% faster than X1 while the GPU delivers a huge jump in graphics performance. For pro workloads, OrangePad Pro now has the Media Engine for superfast video editing, rendering, and exporting.
OrangePad Pro has also gained 10G connectivity. With 10G, the connection is faster, more efficient, and more reliable. 10G allows you to go almost anywhere and have steady, consistent, reliable, and fast coverage. And, for the first time, when you don’t have a connection on cellular models, you can now make a satellite call.
Call via Satellite is an advanced feature added with the OrangePhone 4 series. With it, you can make a call anywhere coverage is available when cell service isn’t. Call with Satellite requires a cellular model of OrangePad Pro.
With PadOS 4, OrangePad can become the ultimate on the go personal computing experience. With the powerful X2 chip from our computers, OrangePad Pro has the option to dual boot OrangeOS Sierra. When dual booting OrangeOS Sierra, OrangePad has access and the power to do everything an OrangeBook can do, and more.
When running OrangeOS Sierra, Orange Pencil becomes a one of a kind mouse, keyboard, and tool. Orange Pencil acts as a the mouse for OrangeOS, allowing you to tap around through anything and everything. With Writing Recognition, you can write into any text field with Orange Pencil. For the first time, OrangeOS will also let you run artistry apps from PadOS and allow you to unleash your creativity like never before.
