The new OrangePad Air continues to redefine what a thin and light tablet can do, in all new ways.
The new Air features a new 11” display. The display uses OLED for the first time, delivering stunning color and blacks than ever. A new adaptive 1-90Hz refresh rate gives OrangePad Air more capability than ever, like matching frame rate to content, and more. With that, we’ve also brought always-on display to OrangePad Air as well.
Inside, OrangePad Air now features X3. The new Air features an all new 8 core CPU, delivering 19% faster performance than before. It also features an all new 10 core GPU, capable of up to 1.3x faster graphics than the previous generation as well. The new Air also features an all new media engine. The new media engine is capable of up to 1.4x faster video rendering than ever. With X3, the new Air is also built on our advanced 4 nanometer process, making the new Air more efficient and powerful than ever. The new Air also takes advantage of unified memory with support for swap memory.
The new Air also features an improved ISP and an improved ASP, making photos and videos better than ever.
For the first time, OrangePad Air features support for dual 6K XDR displays. Allowing you to connect an oDisplay XDR to an OrangePad for the first time.
The new Air also features design updates, like a new body that’s just 5 point 6 milimeters thin, now featuring stronger, reinforced back plating.
On the front, the new Air features an improved 16MP selfie camera, now with Color Correction 2, a first for OrangePad.
The new Air also gains support for thunderbolt USB-C, 12GB of unified memory, 11G connectivity, faster FaceUnlock, and of course OrangeOS dual booting.
The new OrangePad Air is also available in five new colors, Gray, Silver, Bright Red, Bright Blue, and Orange.
The new Air starts from the same great price of $599.
Pre-order for OrangePad Air is available in May, and it’ll be available this Spring.
