The new OrangeBook Max - Now with SmoothMotion, X3 Max, and more

The new OrangeBook Max features an all new 16” Super OLED XDR display with SmoothMotion, the breakthrough X3 Max chip, T1, and more.

The new Max features a large 16” display, now capable of up to 1500 nits brightness. The new display also supports 120Hz SmoothMotion for the first time.

Inside, OrangeBook Max is powered by the all new X3 Max. X3 Max features a 24 core CPU with up to 15% faster performance than X2 Max. X3 Max also features a new 34 core GPU, enabling 20% better graphics, and when mixed with SmoothMotion, up to 35% smoother animations throughout. X3 Max also now features the 16 core NPU from O7 and O7 Pro. This enables 2x faster AI performance than before. X3 Max is also built on our new 4nm process, helping deliver 18% more efficiency. Memory bandwidth has also been increased to 400GB a second, the fastest ever in an Orange computer. In fact, it’s over 3 times faster than X2 Max alone. Media Engine 2 also arrives for improved video rendering, editing, and more. All this ties together to make the new OrangeBook Max the most powerful OrangeBook ever. And, X3 Max completes the X3 family of chips.

We’ve also built other new features into the new OrangeBook Max as well, such as the T1 chip, enabling AirShare Ultra for the first time in an OrangeBook. This will also bring 3x faster wireless sharing as well.

The new OrangeBook Max also features a new titanium shell with scratch resistance and an all new finish.

OrangeBook Max starts from $3,799, and now supports up to 120GB of unified memory, and up to 6TB of storage.

Pre-order for OrangeBook Max starts today, and it’ll be available everywhere on August 2nd.
