The new OrangePad features a compact yet expansive 10.9” display. The display runs at a smooth 90Hz refresh rate, providing users with a fast and smooth experience throughout PadOS 6. The display also features improved anti-reflective coating, making the new OrangePad capable of up to 2x better in outdoor readability.
Inside, the new OrangePad features the O5 chip, previously powering OrangePhone 5 Pro. This proven pro level chip features a 4 core CPU with up to 30% faster performance than the previous generation. It also features a 25% faster GPU, bringing an ultra-smooth gaming experience to OrangePad.
On the back, OrangePad features an updated camera. This new camera features an improved 12 megapixel sensor capable of higher quality photos and videos. 5K video has also been improved with OrangePad now capable of 1.3x sharper 5K video than before.
On the front, OrangePad features an updated 16MP selfie camera. The updated selfie camera features Color Correction for the first time. Color Correction allows for up to times more accurate colors.
And of course, OrangePad features support for Orange Pencil. For the first time, our entry level OrangePad now features writing recognition. Writing Recognition allows you to write in any text field throughout PadOS using your Orange Pencil.
The new OrangePad is available in two new colors, Silver and Gray.
The new 5th generation OrangePad starts at $399.
