At Orange, we believe that artificial intelligence should be a tool designed to help and a tool designed to assist, not a tool to replace real artists, authors, and authenticity.
Effective in our next major software releases, intelligence features will no longer fully generate images, paragraphs, or other generative features built into Orange’s software. This includes the removal of some integrated generative tools, such as ChatGPT, some SketchBook features, and the ability for Rewrite to change an entire work.
While we understand this can be frustrating, these tools will instead now help you develop skills instead. In SketchBook, Ava Intelligence can add detail, improve line cleanliness, and help with shading. Some SketchBook features, like wallpaper generation, will remain for now. In Notes or other places for Rewrite, changes will now be suggested and must be approved before your work is changed. Smart Reply in Messages or Mail will now only suggest replies shorter than two sentences, and will only work for one message at a time, keeping you engaged in your conversations.
