Hi, I’m Paola!

I’m the author of The Den on the Prairie, an illustrated early reader (+6) about two wolf cubs, siblings, Nina and Leo, living adventures in the North American prairie.

My stories are about family bonds, honesty, and the courage to explore the world — and this book is also my quiet tribute to the great Laura Ingalls Wilder and to the spirit of the American frontier.

Here you’ll find my books, behind-the-scenes insights, and occasional free extras for my readers.

At the moment, I create my illustrations using AI-assisted design as a temporary solution, (with prompts written by me) but my goal is to one day work with a talented illustrator. Every purchase helps me move closer to that dream and keep creating new adventures for young readers!
