I've Gotta Be Me...My Way

When I first heard the song I’ve Gotta Be Me by Sammy Davis Jr., it struck a chord I’d felt throughout my life. Feeling right in my differentness and diversity, yet wondering if anyone else felt it in a similar way to me.

A search suggestion said today was his birthday, even though the posting of this entry falls on the day after, due to where I am located in the world.

I’ve been a loner or outsider for most of my life, yet recently I’ve been feeling the call to gather around me those who get and uplift me as much as I do them, but like Sammy, I’ll go it alone if that's how it must be.

I found Frank Sinatra’s My Way before Sammy’s song. I think Sammy's came up as suggested after hearing Frank’s. This song moved me in a way that deepened my integrity with every listen. It reminded me that there were always others who were true to what felt right to them, regardless of what anyone else is doing.

As an Aquarian Manifestor this goes doubly for me.

Due to enhancements in following my own source-inspired guidance. I’ve gotten a lot better at knowing what steps I need to take, when, and how far to go with each. It goes beyond what mentally seems right and also intuition, and most definitely any outside opinions.

Mostly, I am coming into my own life's purpose in a way that comprises so many levels it's both awe-inspiring and humbling. For this, I give thanks and am very proud of myself, because it takes a lot to be intensely focused on bringing one's best to the world in an authentic and bountiful way.

It looks like Sammy and Frank understood each other in a very integral way.

After all, I'll state my case, of which I'm certain. I can’t be right for somebody else if I am not right for me.

Thanks Frank and Sammy. : )
