It's been quite the week. I learned yesterday Ozzy passed away (which brought on the tirade of usual farewell songs related to him and his life's work). As I went through the list, I came across an album I’d all but forgotten about during the early 90s of my high school childhood days.
This reawakened favorite brought to life a comfortable flood of memories and realizations about that time in life that I was able to dovetail with my current life. It’s funny how the mind works. What's even more interesting is I don't remember any specifics around what was occurring in my life at this time. Yet, my mind sprang into action after the first song, the lyrics committed to memory.
I now realize it is my favorite Ozzy album, and it helped me through the emotional teenage “never” I was going through at the time. Enjoying the absolutely beautifully haunting lyrics that painted vivid pictures was an added bonus. I am glad I took the time to relisten.
Here's the Album:

No Rest for the Wicked
Here's a list of farewell songs I listened to:
No More Tears
Mama, I’m Coming Home
See You on the Other Side
Close My Eyes Forever
Mr. Crowley
