None of this is from the DUNE books I actually like and care about. This is not DUNE. Its a prestige skinsuit wearing DUNE'S name.
Particularly, Hayt lecturing Paul. But I guess Chani is a rebel against the Imperium. Denis Villanueve proves he is a hack by using a time jump to gloss over structural problems he, himself introduced into the story that were simply created to serve Zendeya's girlboss persona.
I can't wait for this movie to come out so we can finally get past Denis Villanueve and return to the text as it's written and not the commentary surrounding it.
