About the author
Dr Marion Roberts is a Clinical Psychologist, academic, and breast cancer survivor. She holds a PhD in Psychological Medicine (King’s College London), a Master’s in Clinical Psychology, and works as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Auckland (Aotearoa, New Zealand).
Dr Roberts is also the Founding Director/Principal Clinical Psychologist of a private psychology practice and has extensive experience supporting individuals in distress to navigate the interplay between health and mental health. Her work is grounded in evidence-based, compassionate, client-centred psychological care.
Following her own breast cancer diagnosis at age 40, Dr Roberts has developed a particular interest in accessible psychological support following a cancer diagnosis. She integrates clinical expertise with lived experience to provide practical, accessible support across breast cancer diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship.
