I’m Mz. Vee, founder of HERVYBE Publishing. I’m creating a practical AI learning series based on my own journey learning to use AI at 55.
Welcome to My AI Practice Sessions
I’m learning how to make AI useful in my everyday life and in the work, I’m doing to build HERVYBE Publishing. I started using ChatGPT about two years ago. Over the past year, I’ve been using it to plan, do research, organize ideas, and explore ways to move my goals forward.
I wanted to learn more without spending thousands of dollars on training I couldn’t afford. So, I began learning by asking questions, trying things out, and paying attention to what actually helped me. I’m still learning. AI tools keep changing, and I’m learning how to adjust and keep using them in practical ways.
These practice sessions have become part of my plan because building a brand means carrying a lot of ideas—and finding a way to work through them one step at a time. I use AI as a practical assistant to help me sort my thoughts, explore options, and make a next step feel more manageable. I stay in charge of my choices and bring my own experience to the work.
What you’ll find in each post
Each AI practice post will focus on one practical skill. Inside, you can expect:
- A short explanation of what the practice is meant to help with
- A hands-on exercise you can try in about 10 minutes
- A reusable prompt to copy, personalize, and use with AI
- A reflection on how I’m applying the practice as I build
- A simple way to connect the lesson to your own ideas, experience, or goals
You don’t need special equipment or advanced AI knowledge to follow along. Bring an idea you want to organize, a question you’re working through, or a goal you’d like to take a step toward. Use the prompt as a starting point, change it to fit your situation, and decide for yourself which suggestions are useful.
I’m sharing these sessions because I know what it’s like to have a lot I want to do and to be figuring things out as I go. If you’re also learning AI while working toward a goal of your own, I hope these practices help you feel more organized and ready to take your next step.
