You Will Inspire Some and Trigger Others. Both Are Medicine.

I posted something recently that stirred up a storm.

Not because I was trying to. Because I was simply existing. Doing my work. Helping people heal. Being exactly who I am.

And for some people, that's inspiring.

For others? It's triggering.

What Happened

A woman placed an order. I didn't have her address, which delayed shipping.

She kept messaging me on TikTok. My messages weren't going through at one point โ€” platform glitches, not me ignoring her. And on top of that, I was busy moving into my new home after 7 months in a hotel.

She became angry. Caught an attitude.

I spoke my piece. Created a hard boundary. Told her I'd handle it when I could.

She didn't like that.

She started texting another young lady in our tribe, dragging her into the situation. When I didn't respond to her threats? That's when the name-calling began. "Bitch." "Whore." She even said she wanted to fight me.

Not because I did anything wrong. Because she was triggered. By her own unhealed pain. By my refusal to shrink. By the mirror I held up without even trying.

What I Did Instead of Fighting

I did not block her. I'm not scared of her. And I still have to complete the business transaction on my end.

But I did put her ass on my ancestor altar.

I didn't argue. I didn't defend myself. I didn't respond to threats. I didn't play her game. I didn't absorb her projection.

Instead, I maintained my boundaries. I let Spirit handle it. I blessed her and released her. And I kept my peace.

I don't have time to go back and forth with mentally ill folks. I have a tribe to take care of. A new home to settle into after 7 months in a hotel. And my sanity to protect.

I'm not uttering another word to her.

She must've forgot that I'm a whole witch. And hexing? That's one of the things I do.

Why Some People Trigger Others

Some people are uncomfortable with your glow because it highlights their own shadows.

If you are confident, they may feel intimidated. If you are peaceful, they may feel agitated. If you are successful, they may feel envious. If you are healing, they may feel exposed. If you are free, they may feel triggered.

That's not your fault. It's their invitation to heal.

You are not responsible for their reaction to your existence.

Both Are Medicine

Inspiration is medicine because it reminds people what's possible.

Trigger is medicine because it shows people what still needs healing.

If my presence triggers you, that's not my problem. That's your invitation to look inward.

You can either heal the wound or project it onto me.

I know which one I chose. And I know which one brings peace.

What Happens When You Put Someone on the Altar

You don't curse them. You don't wish them harm.

You hand them over. You say: "Ancestors, you know the truth. You see what I see. Handle it accordingly."

And then you let go. Completely.

Because the ancestors don't play about their children. And when they go to work on someone who comes for one of their own?

It ain't gonna be pretty.

My Message to You

Stop shrinking. Stop dimming. Stop making yourself small so someone else can feel big.

Your light is not the problem. Their unhealed shadow is.

Let them be triggered. Let them be angry. Let them call you names.

And then take it straight to your ancestors.

They'll handle it. While you rest.
