I Don't Remember the Dreams β€” But I Remember Buying a Beautiful Black Bra

Spiritual woman. Spiritual man. Goddess. King. You are seen here.

Some dreams shout. Some whisper. Last night, I had many. And I can't remember a single one of them.

Except one.

I was buying a beautiful black bra.

That's the image my soul refused to let go of. Out of everything I could have dreamed β€” while money is tight, food is low, my body is aching, and sleep comes in pieces β€” that's what stayed.

So let me tell you why that matters.

What a Bra Represents

A bra is the first layer. Everything else sits on top of it. If it's wrong, nothing else fits right. It holds what's precious. It supports. It lifts. It secures.

It sits closest to your heart. It's intimate. It's private. It's yours.

And this one was black.

Black means protection. Power. Grounding. Dignity. Black absorbs. Black shields. Black doesn't ask permission. Black is regal.

And I didn't find it. I didn't receive it. I didn't borrow it.

I purchased it.

I walked in. I chose it. I paid the price. I claimed it.

Why That's the Message

In the middle of survival β€” money tight, cupboards low, body hurting β€” my spirit showed me choosing support for myself.

Beautiful. Protective. Black. Mine.

That's not vanity. That's not frivolous. That's foundation.

Even in the storm, you're still choosing yourself.

Even when money is tight, you're still worthy of something beautiful.

Even when everything feels unstable, you're building your foundation.

For Everyone Standing in a Hard Season

Maybe you're in housing uncertainty. Maybe money isn't moving the way you need it to. Maybe your body is tired. Maybe your relationships are strained. Maybe you're just trying to make it through today.

Hear this.

Your foundation matters. The thing holding you up, closest to your heart, underneath everything else. That's not optional. That's the first layer.

And you don't have to beg for it. You don't have to wait for someone to hand it to you.

You can choose it. You can pay for it. You can claim it.

And it can be beautiful.

What I'm Taking From This

When money comes in β€” even a little β€” I'm buying myself one thing that supports me. Not for anyone else. Something beautiful that holds me up.

I'm looking at my actual foundation right now. What's holding me up? What's worn out? What needs replacing?

And I'm noticing that my spirit chose beautiful. Not cheap. Not just functional. Beautiful.

That's a standard. And I'm honoring it.

Closing

You don't have to remember the whole dream. Sometimes the spirit strips it down to one image so you can't miss the point.

Mine was a beautiful black bra.

Foundation. Support. Protection. Beauty.

Yours.
