I Dreamed DC Young Fly Hired Me β€” And He Chose Me for My Craft, Not My Credentials

Spiritual woman. Goddess. Queen. Entrepreneur. This one is for you.

I had a dream that DC Young Fly hired me to be his personal assistant and nurse.

Two roles. Two kinds of care. Organization and healing. Handling someone's life and tending to someone's body.

He hired me for both.

But that's not the part I need to tell you about.

The Person Who Was Upset

His main person β€” a young Hispanic man β€” was upset that he hired me.

DC told him not to be upset. Because he doesn't do his job. He's all over the place. And he should be thankful he's not being fired β€” just given something else to do with another part of the crew.

Let me say what that means.

I was entering a space where someone else had been slacking.

My presence exposed that.

But the person in charge didn't punish the slacker. He just repositioned him. He handled it. He didn't need me to fight for my place or defend my presence.

I was chosen. That was the end of the discussion.

Maybe you've been in that position. Walking into a room where someone who's been occupying space without doing the work suddenly feels threatened by you. And you didn't have to do anything to earn that reaction β€” you just showed up and did what you do.

You're not responsible for someone else's insecurity. And the person in charge already knows.

I Asked Him to Pray With Us

I asked him to pray with us as a monumental moment of me coming on board.

That's me. I don't enter new spaces without covering them. I wanted the transition sanctified.

And we were interrupted.

That matters. Every time I try to set something sacred, something comes in to break it. That's been a pattern in my dreams β€” the moment of intimacy or prayer gets crashed.

But here's what I know now: the interruption doesn't cancel the prayer.

Then He Held Me

He grabbed me and hugged me. He rubbed his face on my face. His lips across my neck.

I described it as nourishment and intimacy.

And then I named the conflict: I believe in keeping things professional.

So the dream gave me a moment of deep, wanted contact β€” and then immediately showed me the tension of it not being appropriate.

That's my real inner world in one moment. I want closeness. I want to be held, nourished, fed. And I also have a strong code about where and how that happens.

The dream put both in the same room and let them touch.

That conflict isn't a flaw. It's discernment. But it made me ask myself: Where did I learn that the care I need has to come with conditions?

Then I Asked Him How He Found Me

He pulled out a narrow slip of white paper. Small lime green writing.

Lime green was my mother's favorite color.

He showed it to me, then read it because it was hard for me to see.

It mentioned my handmade products.

It did not mention my CNA skills.

And we were both shocked.

I asked him how he knew. He said, "I could feel it. I could see it."

He was so thankful we connected. I smiled and agreed β€” but I was still in awe.

What That Part Means

Your CNA skills are your credentials. Your training. Your resume. The thing you can put on paper that says "I am qualified for this."

Your handmade products are your craft. Your oils. Your spiritual work. The thing you make with your own hands, from your own intuition, with your own energy in it.

The paper listed your craft. Not your credentials.

That's the whole message.

You've been worried about whether you're qualified. Whether you have enough proof. Whether your resume lines up.

And the dream says: The paper doesn't list what you were trained to do. It lists what you were born to do.

Your CNA skills are how you've survived. Your handmade products are how you serve. And it's the second one that got you chosen.

"I could feel it. I could see it."

No resume. No interview. No proof.

He felt it. He saw it.

You don't have to convince the right people. You just have to be in the room.

And the lime green? Your mother's favorite color? That's ancestral. That's your mother's line, her blessing, her energy, coming through a channel you didn't expect.

The paper was already written before you got there.

What This Dream Is Telling You

You are being chosen for what you carry, not what you've been trained in.

Your hands make things people need. Your craft is your qualification.

The people meant to find you will find you through something small and ancestral β€” a slip of paper only you would recognize.

You don't have to prove it. They already feel it.

And the interruption doesn't cancel the prayer.

For Every Spiritual Entrepreneur Reading This

If you've been building, making, pouring, creating β€” and wondering if anyone will ever see it β€” this is your confirmation.

You don't need a bigger platform. You need the right eyes.

You don't need more credentials. You need the people who can feel it.

You don't need to explain yourself. You need the ones who already know.

Your craft is the paper. And the right people are already reading it.

Closing

He pulled out a slip of paper I didn't know existed.

It had my mother's favorite color on it.

It listed my craft β€” not my training.

And he said he could feel it.

That's not a job offer. That's a commission.

And I said yes.
