The Supermoon & My Old Name: A Dream of Liberation and Vitality

A powerful Super Hunter's Moon dream of encountering my past self—and the people I left there—reveals the stunning difference between a life of conformity and a life of authentic, magical power.

The Super Hunter's Moon is a time of illumination, and last night, it cast its brilliant, unforgiving light directly onto the path I’ve walked. It gave me a dream so clear, so simple, and so validating that I woke up with a profound sense of peace.

In the dream, I was driving down a familiar Charlotte street. I encountered person after person from a past life—my old church community, connections from my first marriage. They recognized me immediately, calling me by a name I haven’t worn in years.

We were all the same age, in our 50s. But the difference was jarring.

They sounded old. They moved with a lack of mobility. Their faces were etched with wrinkles that spoke of worry, of a life lived within rigid lines. I, on the other hand, stood before them vibrant, strong, and full of a youthful energy that genuinely shocked them.

They kept trying to pull me back into the past, to reference "when they knew me." But my spirit wouldn't have it. Kindly, yet firmly, I made them acknowledge my now. They even admitted, almost in a whisper of regret, that my ex-had missed out on "keeping" me, and how well I looked.

The dream looped, the message repeating with different faces from that old world. The contrast was the entire point.

The Spiritual Interpretation: Your Path is Written on Your Face

This wasn't a dream about vanity. This was a spiritual diagnosis.

The "old" me they were calling to was a version of myself living a life that was not my own. It was a life of following rules without question, of suppressing my magic, of fitting into a box that was never built for my spirit.

That life drains your vitality. It ages you from the inside out.

The "me" they saw now—the vibrant, strong, glowing woman—is the direct result of my choice to walk away. To question the questionable. To embrace my power as a Witch and a Hoodoo Practitioner. To choose a path that honors my spirit, my ancestors, and my connection to the earth.

My vitality is my testimony. The light in my eyes is the same light of the Supermoon that illuminated this truth. My strength is the product of carrying my own power, not the weight of other people's expectations.

The Supermoon's Role: Illuminating the Truth

The Hunter's Moon is about seeing things clearly and gathering the resources you need for the winter ahead. Last night, it illuminated the most precious resource I have: my authentic life. It showed me the "hunt" was worth it. The courage to leave the familiar pasture led me to a thriving, wild, and magical forest.

A Message For You

If you are feeling the strain of a life that doesn't fit, if you feel your spirit growing weary in a cage it wasn't meant for, see this as your sign.

Your liberation is not just a spiritual concept; it is a physical reality. Choosing yourself is the most potent medicine there is. It is the secret to a glow that no expensive cream can replicate, a strength that no gym can build, and a youthfulness that time cannot touch.

They may call you by your old name. You just have to smile, and in your firmest, kindest voice, remind them of who you are now.

And if they wonder what your secret is? You can tell them the truth.

You chose you. And it made all the difference.
