teamLab has two installations in Tokyo:

  1. Teamlab Planets
  2. Teamlab Borderless


 

Teamlab Planets [Toyosu]





  • teamLab Planets is a museum where you walk through water.
  • It consists of four vast exhibition spaces containing seven indoor artworks, plus one outdoor piece at the entrance for a total of seven works created by art collective teamLab.
  • By immersing the entire body with other people in these massive “Body Immersive” artworks, the boundary between the body and the artwork dissolves, the boundaries between the self, others, and the world become something continuous, and we explore a new relationship without boundaries between ourselves and the world.
  • Visitors enter the museum barefoot, and become completely immersed with other visitors in the vast artwork spaces.

By Train:

  • 1 minute on foot from Shin-Toyosu Station (Tokyo Waterfront New Transit Waterfront Line Yurikamome Line)
  • 10 minutes on foot from Toyosu Station (Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line)
  • 5 minutes on foot from Shijoumae Station and Toyosu Market

Teamlab Borderless [Odaiba]





Wander, explore, discover in one borderless world

  • teamLab Borderless is a world of artworks without boundaries, a museum without a map created by art collective teamLab.
  • teamLab Borderless is a group of artworks that form one borderless world. Artworks move out of rooms, communicate with other works, influence, and sometimes intermingle with each other with no boundaries.
  • Immerse your body in borderless art in this vast, complex, three-dimensional 10,000 square meter world. Wander, explore with intention, discover, and create a new world with others.

Location:

  • MORI Building DIGITAL ART MUSEUM: teamLab Borderless
  • Odaiba Palette Town 2F
  • teamLab Borderless is on the 2nd floor of Palette Town next to the entrance to the giant ferris wheel.
  • Go to the second floor of Palette Town, and go through the MEGA WEB building towards the giant ferris wheel.

  • Weekdays: 11:00 - 17:00
  • Weekend: 9:00 - 18:00 [Last Entrance 1 hour before the closing time.]

  • You will get a free 2-hour parking pass by arriving to the venue by car.
