OLED TVs in general deliver great picture quality for all kinds of content thanks to their pixel-level control of brightness and colors, fast pixel response and wide viewing angles. One of such TVs I had a pleasure to test and to share with you recommendations on how to adjust its picture controls for the optimum image.
Ever since I started testing TVs back in 2008, one thing is common despite all the advancements in technology - TVs out of the box are poorly adjusted and are not following the industry standards by which the content is produced.
You can buy the most expensive TV with all the latest technology inside and different AI functions, but unless you grab the remote and do the adjustments you won't experience the content the way it was meant to be seen.
In the following video I am guiding you through the different menus and showing basic recommendations on LG C5 OLED TV. You can use these recommendations on all screen sizes and all other models in the 2025 lineup, including:
- B5 (entry-level OLED)
- G5 & M5 (Brightness Booster Ultimate models)
- T4 (Transparent OLED)
If you prefer to look at the recommendations at your own pace instead of looking at the video, you can buy the documents in my store and that way you will also support my work (thank you very much for that!).
