Program Requirements:
1. Must be a Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th grade student
2. Must currently have a library card with your local library
3. Must read the required Book of the Month
4. Must complete the required Book Review assignments monthly
5. Must complete the required Tutor Worksheets each week
6. Must submit Book Review assignments and Tutor worksheets before deadlines.
7. Must submit Book Review assignments and Tutor worksheets completed.
8. No cheating or plagiarism on any assignments
9. Must fill out membership form and submit it
10. Must write a brief summary of why you want to join The Young Scholar’s Book Club
11. A valid E-mail address
12. Membership is FREE
13. Must get parent’s permission to join.
14. Must read policies and procedures of TYS Book Club
15. Must have signed Parent permission form on file with TYS Book Club
16. After paperwork is processed, member will receive a welcome letter, membership card, log in ID and password by regular mail. The password will allow access to the members only portion of The Young Scholar’s Book Club Website.
