I created Our Backyard Collective as a place to share the things we enjoy in our home, making from scratch, sewing, knitting, gardening, learning as we go.

Here you'll find stories from our family, as well as recipes, tutorials, projects, and things we use in our home. I share some of the things we're trying, what's worked for us, and the things I've learned along the way.

I've always loved creating, especially sewing and making things from upcycled fabrics. Some of the handmade pieces I create are shared here too.

I'm not an expert, I just love learning new things and inspiring others to give things a go.
