Why Your Bakery Can Have Great Products and Still Not Get Sales

The Problem May Not Be Your Baking!

One of the hardest things for a baker to experience is spending hours making beautiful products and then hearing… crickets.

No orders.

No messages.

No sales.

I've seen many talented bakers struggle with this, and I want you to know that low sales don't automatically mean your products aren't good.

Sometimes the problem is how the product is being presented.

Ask yourself:

  • Are your product photos attractive?
  • Is your pricing clear?
  • Are you showing people what makes your product different?
  • Are you creating products around what customers actually want?
  • Are you making it easy for someone to place an order?
  • Are you consistently posting?

Your social media shouldn't only say “I have cookies for sale.”

Show the process. Show the finished product. Show the packaging. Share customer reviews. Explain what makes your product special. Create excitement around new flavors and limited releases.

Content that educates, entertains, and showcases the product can help turn viewers into customers.

Don't immediately give up on your business. Sometimes you don't need a new business—you need a new strategy.
