Webspirit has always been a place for ideas worth exploring — whether through practical health education, hands-on guides or thought-provoking fiction.
Our books come from different areas of experience and imagination, but they share a common purpose: to create work with substance that readers can learn from, think about and return to.
David Bearclaw
Author of thought-provoking fiction
David’s fiction explores the tensions between society and the individual, examining themes such as conformity, control, choice, and what happens when accepted ideas are pushed to their limits.
A lifelong storyteller, David has written across a range of formats, including screenplays, television and fiction. His fascination with history and the people who shaped it also inspires his historical fiction, where real periods and events provide the backdrop for stories about human ambition, conflict, loyalty, survival and change.
Whether writing about imagined futures or the complexities of the past, David is drawn to the same underlying questions: Why do people believe what they believe? What makes them challenge the world around them? And what happens when an individual refuses to simply follow the accepted path?
His work brings the imaginative side of WebSpirit to life, using storytelling to explore ideas, possibilities and questions that rarely have simple answers.
For readers who enjoy speculative and dystopian fiction that leaves something to think about after the final page, start with Shadows of Consensus.
Ela Gold
Health educator, author and founder of WebSpirit
Ela Gold's work brings together decades of experience in natural health, education and colon hydrotherapy.
As a holistic colon hydrotherapist, educator and founder of the Healthy Gut Academy, Ela has spent many years helping people better understand digestive health and teaching both individuals and practitioners about colon hydrotherapy and related practices.
Her health books are designed to make specialised knowledge more accessible — turning years of practical experience into clear resources readers can understand and use.
Alongside health education, Ela also creates practical how-to guides for readers who want to understand the equipment and processes behind colon cleansing rather than simply relying on ready-made solutions.

Marek Gold
Flute maker and explorer of the unknown.
Born in Poland and raised in Australia, his life followed anything but a conventional path. He studied mathematics, yet was equally fascinated by spirituality, consciousness, nature and the possibilities that exist beyond our everyday understanding of reality.
Marek joined the hippie movement and its search for alternative ways of living and thinking. His curiosity led him to explore spirituality, altered states of consciousness and out-of-body experiences.
For many years, Marek made Japanese Shakuhachi flutes, combining craftsmanship, mathematics and music.
For Marek, there was little separation between science, spirituality, creativity and nature.
Marek died in 2006, but his writing reflects the way he lived: curious and willing to explore beyond the boundaries of conventional thinking.
Making and playing the flute was just one way for him to connect with Spirit. Start easy with: How to Make Your Own Bamboo Flute.
