hi guys!!
happy new year and happy 20th anniversary to high school musical!!
i still vividly remember being a kid and being excited for 8pm disney channel original movies, making sure im not a minute late. the disney channel wand by my favorite actor of the week, the music leading up to the new movie, and “you’re watching disney channel” is what inspired the theme of this month. i think that childhood excitement has always been a feeling i yearn for over the years, from channeling inner child hobbies and rewatching these said movies.
as a new yorker girl born and raised, ive never been to times square to watch the ball drop. but every year i make an effort to watch it live, like my own personal tradition. a lot about new york has changed right before our eyes, but the ball drop will always be iconic. not iconic enough for me to put on an adult diaper to go watch it but you get the point!!
the new year always gives me a slight jolt of excitement and hope, but it quickly trickles away with the anxiety of time passing me by. so this year i really want to be intentional about being in the moment. and this little snail mail is a part of that!! thanks for joining me and i can’t wait to see what the rest of the months inspire me to do!!
