snail mail series 3: february ๐ŸŽ€๐Ÿชž๐Ÿฉฐ๐Ÿฆข๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ

dearest gentle reader,

i'm honored to admit we are now hitting our third month of our snail mail!! as someone who heavily hyperfixates over hobbies, i am genuinely surprised i'm still going strong here. if you know me personally, you know this is a pretty big deal out of character thing for me. it must be all the 2016 aura in the air??

anyways! if you're new here, thank you so much for joining and i am sooo excited to have you!! it means so much to me that you stumbled upon my art and decided you want it for yourself. it's so fun coming up with new themes for each month and i just HAD to do it for bridgerton this month. did you guys catch up the first half? i'm taking it way too slow. i've also decided to be absolutely unfiltered with my posts here, cause it kind of feels like my own personal blog. and i've ALWAYS wanted to be that girl, starting from my tumblr days. something about a digital footprint used to keep me up at night, but like i said, times have changed over here lately.

okay enough yap, the inspiration for this month clearly comes from none other than sophie baek and benedict bridgerton's love story. i for one, will always say season 1 is my FAVE. daphne and simon's slow burn was just unmatched for me for all the other seasons, with queen charlotte's coming up to a close second. i wanted to adore kate and anthony but love triangles have a special place in my heart - in hatred, that is. but they're cute af too of course. i wonder if this season will top the first for me?? daphne's story literally made me quickly read the books up to book 5 because i knew i wouldn't be able to wait this long to know the rest of their stories. and let's just say ive been WAITINGGG for this one!

this month i actually explored something new; i used my new ohuhu colored pencils (such a funny brand name) and scanned the book lover heart sticker. it was so fun to do - i even used the bridgerton font!! did you catch that? hehe. i also drew the bridgerton house in my postcard, i love the way the colors came out! and ofc, i had to add sophie's mask and some other bridgertonesque details to my sticker sheet.

if you made it this far, just know this is the beginning of my banter. can't wait to see where the next few months take me!! lately i've been on a monet water lillies kick (after seeing the exhibit in brooklyn museum of course) so that'll be my next months theme perhaps!!

til next month, and with love,

noha

ps: if you have any suggestions for a theme, plsss message me! i'm into childhood whimsical book crafty scrapbook diy nostalgia 90s type stuff. whatever that means but yeah hehe
