so excited to present to ya'll, the december month snail mail! °❆⛄⋆.ೃ࿔🦌*:･❄️
the inspo behind this month comes from my love for nostalgia ... and the scholastic book fairs back in elementary school. particularly, c.s.lewis's chronicles of narnia: the lion, the witch, and the wardrobe.
i have such fond memories of my 5th grade elementary school teacher (mrs. mcevoy there's no way you're reading this but if you are, ily) reading us that book out loud. we'd go around and read excerpts while sitting pretzel on the red carpet floor and i'd secretly hope not to get picked because suddenly i'd forget the ability to read if i have to speak it out loud. anyways, it gives me such whimsical wintery vibes, from the coat closet opening up to the snowy narnia world, to the turkish delight tin that broke familial ties.
i also wanted to incorporate a little "merry christmas harry! merry christmas ron!" winter sweaters of course. and a little something that reminded me of walking home from school in the new york city winter snow. the ideas were endless but i have a limit on my letter weight!!
anyways this is my first ever letter sent out and if you guys have any ideas for the coming months i'd love to hear them!! can't wait for you guys to get your letters <3
