A planner is a gift that gets used every day, as long as it fits the person. Ask these four questions before you buy one.
- Do they plan by the week or by the day? Most people with a job and a family plan by the week. A weekly spread shows the whole week across two pages, with room to write each day. Daily pages suit people with packed appointment books.
- Monday or Sunday start? People who think in work weeks usually prefer a Monday start, so the weekend sits together at the end.
- Big or portable? A large planner stays on the desk or kitchen counter and gives you real writing space. A small one goes in a bag.
- What will they enjoy looking at? They'll see the cover every day for a year. Classic art ages better than trends.
Our two 2027 planners, both dated January to December 2027 with a Monday start, a calendar and focus page for every month, and two pages for every week:
- Floral edition: Henri Fantin-Latour's Roses in a Bowl on the cover.
- Charcoal Edition: Hokusai's Storm below Mount Fuji, a good fit for him.
