About Me

Zelda was raised in the District of Columbia, Washington. She attended Federal City College, which is now the University of the District of Columbia. Zelda has one loving daughter, Ms. Allison Elizabeth Irby Vu, and one grandson, Master Enzo.

Zelda worked for the federal government for over 31 years, including 10 years of private and corporate employment. She also participated and volunteered in many fundraising activities and events in her local and surrounding communities, as well as in federal environments during her youth and adult life.

Zelda became a recording artist at the tender age of 14 when she formed the singing group, The Dorells. “Maybe Baby” and “Good Luck to The Lucky Girl” were the two records they recorded as a teenage singing group.

“Spilled Tea Tastes Better” is Zelda’s first published book.
