Finding your Serenity
I wanted to share something that's been a huge part of my journey as a mom.
After a difficult pregnancy, becoming a single mom, and caring for a high-needs newborn, I found myself completely overwhelmed. I was spending every minute taking care of someone else and had forgotten how to take care of myself.
As an Early Childhood Educator, I was already used to putting others first, so when I became a mom, it felt like there was never a moment left for me.
One thing that unexpectedly helped was journaling.
Not because I suddenly had lots of free time (I definitely didn't!), but because I could spend just 5-10 minutes each day focusing on my own thoughts, emotions, and goals. It helped me feel more grounded and more like myself again.
The challenge was that I often didn't know what to write. Staring at a blank page felt overwhelming when my brain was already exhausted.
That's what inspired me to start creating guided journals with prompts and trackers that help take the pressure off. Instead of wondering what to write, you can simply follow along and focus on reflecting, processing, and growing.
What started as something I created for myself has now turned into a small business creating printable wellness journals and coloring journals for busy moms and anyone looking to prioritize their mental health.
