A. L. Adams is a writer and visual artist who has spent an unreasonable portion of her adult life filling out forms explaining circumstances that would have been easier to survive than summarize.

She makes books, paintings, printable oddities, and other evidence from the scene. Her fiction includes Saints of Vice, Ethera, and The War Against Cooter Brown. Her visual work runs on dark humor, damaged objects, roadside religion, domestic absurdity, and the stubborn conviction that discarded things are usually more interesting than approved ones. She has no interest in sanding the dents out of objects, people, stories, or the truth.

She lives and works in Louisville, Kentucky, with her husband, Eric, their sons, and enough unfinished projects to constitute a zoning issue. This shop is where the finished ones escape.
