Hi! I'm Arlene, a freelance illustrator based in the Netherlands.
I love illustrating food, people/characters, places or things from my family holidays. I used to work with traditional art materials, specifically, watercolours, colored pencils, gel pens, fine liners, markers, etc. Since I started making art digitally, I’ve preferred it because it’s much more convenient, especially as you become more familiar with the tools or features of a specific drawing app. In my case, it’s Procreate.
Travels and nature inspire my bold and colorful palettes. Digital downloads of my illustrations and greeting cards are available here on Payhip, while some physical items of my artwork are sold on my Etsy shop.
