Is it just me or has the second half of this year been a bit crazy? I've been so busy at work that my brain hasn't had the capacity to do much in the way of pattern writing or designing. I've been traveling domestically and internationally for work quite a bit and while it's been full on, it's still been fun! I was able to enjoy the lead up to Christmas in both Bangkok and Melbourne - see the selfies below!

These were taken a few hours apart in between a bit of a big night in Melbourne after a successful work trip!
Excuse the blurry photos and the bad light.... being overseas didn't stop me from crocheting. Looks like this will be one of my next published designs. This is using cotton yarn made from recycled denim fabric. It's so nice and cool to wear, so good in the humid climate we're getting here now.
Back home for Christmas. This is Miss 7 - Astrid - on Christmas morning and on Christmas night. Sleeping in the car is my idea of bliss - she looks how I feel!
I know things have been quiet in my crochet world lately. I'm hoping to remedy that by finishing off a couple of half written patterns and booting up a couple of tests in January. Watch out on my Slack channel for test announcements.
