About Me
A Friend in Your Corner for the Parenthood Journey
Ada Igwe is a researcher, writer, and advocate for moms navigating the beautiful chaos of pregnancy and early motherhood. Her work is rooted in a simple belief: no parent should feel unprepared or alone.
After her own journey through the highs (baby kicks!), lows (3 a.m. heartburn), and "wait, is this normal?!" moments of pregnancy, Ada became obsessed with answering the questions many moms are too overwhelmed to ask. She spent countless hours combing through medical studies, interviewing parents, and testing practical solutions—all to create resources that feel like a trusted friend, not a textbook.
"The Modern Mama's Secret Weapon: From Panic to Power" is the first of many guides born from this mission. Ada’s approach blends deep research, relatable storytelling, and cultural inclusivity, with zero judgment or sugarcoating. She’s passionate about cutting through online noise to deliver advice that’s practical, evidence-based, and feels like it’s coming from your most honest mom-friend.
When she’s not writing, Ada can be found testing the latest baby products (spoiler: most are overhyped), cooking, or experimenting with freezer meals that actually taste good postpartum. She lives by the mantra: “You don’t have to be perfect—just present.”
Ada is currently working on her next project, but you’ll always find her sharing bite-sized tips, and solidarity on social media.
Fun Fact: Ada’s nickname in college was “The Research Queen”—a title she earned after spending hours fact-checking everything (a habit that’s now your gain).
