About the Author

Dr. Denise K. Harper-Richardson is the Founder & CEO of Advisory2Work LLC and creator of Preptrics™. With more than 30 years of experience in education, leadership, curriculum development, teacher evaluation, Career and Technical Education, Work-Based Learning, Special Education, and elementary and middle-level instruction, Dr. Denise built Preptrics™ to solve a problem teachers know well: having curriculum is not the same as having tomorrow’s lesson planned.

Preptrics™ helps educators turn standards, pacing guides, and scope and sequence into differentiated, career-connected, SEL-integrated instruction designed for the students and adults actually in the classroom. The system brings together rigorous content, identity and cultural affirmation, Future-Ready competencies, instructional-framework alignment, co-teaching support, and practical classroom implementation—while helping teachers reclaim valuable planning time.

Built from decades of educational leadership and reviewed with experienced educators across grade levels and content areas, Preptrics™ is designed for real classrooms, real students, and real futures.

Plan smarter. Launch stronger. Teach with confidence.

Dr. Denise K. Harper-Richardson is an educator, school leader, speaker, trainer, and founder of Advisory2Work™. With more than three decades of experience in urban education, Dr. Harper-Richardson has dedicated her career to building school communities where students and educators feel seen, supported, affirmed, and prepared for the future.

Her work centers belonging, identity, culturally responsive practice, student success infrastructure, educator wellness, leadership development, and career-connected learning. As a Black woman educator and leader, she understands both the brilliance and the burden that Black educators often carry in schools, systems, and communities.

Through Advisory2Work™, Dr. Harper-Richardson provides professional development, coaching, strategic planning, and practical tools that help educators, schools, and organizations move from good intentions to sustainable systems of support.

She believes deeply that the people who pour into others must also be poured into — and that educator wellness is not separate from student success. It is part of the foundation.
