Ahmed Helmy is a freelance Egyptian poet, and novelist. He grew up in Cairo, in March 9th, 1998. Helmy started writing from 2010 till the current time, 2014. His early content spoke inner pains, religious struggles, and his inability to find different types of love.
His new content leaped from poetry about real isolation to being isolated between humans, his new content became more about social issues and inner feelings.
“Since I had a great close relationship with my sister, she's introduced me to various types of artists. She introduced me to my life-long love, Evanescence. Amy Lee made me love deep, dark music; she has inspired me to write like no one else. Then I was inspired by Shamaya Otep, the darkest writer I've ever witnessed.” – Helmy says.
