Alex Castillo is a midwestern U.S. based poet. Her poems are usually focused around specific feelings and people but occasionally branch into larger social issues as well. Alex has done performance/slam poetry in both casual and competitive atmospheres. All of her poems are written in free verse style but usually vary in length. Her poems have previously been featured in both the September and November issues of Turnpike Magazine.
