My name is Gary Alexander. I played professional baseball in the Texas Rangers and Philadelphia Phillies organizations, and I have spent more than 20 years coaching high school baseball and providing individual instruction.

I developed this animated PowerPoint after noticing a common issue early in my high school coaching career: during infield/outfield practice, players often stayed still unless the ball was hit directly to them. Defensive baseball requires every player to move with purpose on every ball in play, and every defender has a responsibility on each rep.

This presentation was created to teach those responsibilities clearly and visually, so players understand where they need to be, how they should react, and how team defense works together as one unit. In short, this PowerPoint helps solve that problem by showing that every defensive player has a role on every play.
