About Me
After growing up in Vancouver, Canada, I spent thirteen years in Spain and France. I traveled widely, spending time in India, New Orleans and New York. I returned to Victoria, Canada where I have been a professional graphic artist for 20 years. For ten years I taught painting to adults in oils, acrylics and various media. For several years I also ran Arts in Education classes for children in the public schools.
I was the Arts Administrator for the Victoria Arts Council for nine years. We ran a full gallery as well as programs with Indigenous Peoples, and professional and emerging artists.
For 20 years I've been commissioned to create websites, posters, commercial ads, and the illustrations for the graphic novel Nightfreight.
My book "Color Theory at its Simplest" covers every aspect of color theory in clear, concise language with illustrations to demonstrate the concepts. It has been invaluable to children and adults alike.
