I was raised on a farm in Northwest Iowa, and am so grateful for the opportunity to grow up where I did. I learned so much about hard work, how to treat people with kindness, and most importantly, I was surrounded by a community of people who showed me how important faith in Jesus Christ is. God grabbed hold of my heart at a young age, and ever since then, my faith has always been the most important thing in my life.

After graduating from high school, I went to college in St. Paul, MN at Bethel University. I majored in Communication and met my husband, Jake. We were married halfway through our senior year, and have been married for 15 years! We have four kids, all who we had in less than four years between 2011 and 2014. A few years ago we traded cold weather for sunshine and now we live in Naples, FL.
