Each pack offers a different way to explore a familiar story. Choose the activity that best suits your pupils, or combine packs to build a sequence of lessons.
Read & Sequence
Read illustrated story cards, put the events in order and create a little book to reread and share.
Reading & Comprehension
Read illustrated story texts and develop understanding through retrieval, vocabulary, sequencing and inference activities. Easier picture-supported questions provide extra support. Check individual listings for the reading and question levels included.
Retell, Sequence & Write
Organise the main events and use picture prompts and planning activities to retell the original story in your own words.
Story Innovation
Change the characters, setting or events, then plan and write your own version of the story. These packs may also be titled “Create Your Own Fairy Tale” or “Creative Writing”.
Do I need to buy all the packs?
No. Each pack can be used independently. If you choose more than one, you could begin with reading and sequencing, explore comprehension, then move on to retelling or creating a new version.
Each pack is sold separately. Not every story has every pack available, so check the individual product listings before purchasing.
All resources are digital downloads. No physical products will be sent.
