Hi, my name is Anna Astarte and I'm a Trichologist & Hair Expert
Over the years, I’ve worked with more than 1,000 clients and have seen the same pattern again and again:
people struggle with hair problems not because they don’t care, but because they’re overwhelmed by myths, half-truths, and misleading advice.
There’s simply too much noise out there. People are told things like:
• “It’s normal to lose 100 hairs a day.”
➝ That’s a myth. Hair density is different for everyone: for some, 100 hairs may be acceptable, but for others, that number could mean noticeable thinning and long-term loss.
• “Shampoos can stop hair loss.”
➝ Also false. No shampoo can “treat” hair loss in the 3–4 minutes it sits on your scalp. Active ingredients simply don’t have the time to reach and act on the follicle.
And yet, these myths spread everywhere — on social media, in advertising, even in everyday conversations.
On top of that, today’s feeds are filled with influencers and bloggers proudly claiming they’ve “cured” their hair loss or “fixed” their hair length with certain products. People follow these tips, hoping for the same results — but the truth is, what worked for one person may not work for another, and in some cases, can even make things worse. Each body, scalp, and hair type is different, and copying someone else’s routine is rarely the answer.
