I’m a Londoner who came to Paris in 1991 – and never left. I wrote my guides to little-known daytrips an hour or less from Paris by train because I couldn't find anything in English or French which told me what I wanted to know: how to get to interesting uncrowded places easily accessible from Paris by train.
An Hour From Paris, my 2002 guide to 20 little-known daytrips within an hour of Paris by train, is now in its fourth edition, in full colour (2026).
Half An Hour From Paris, 10 shorter daytrips around half an hour from Paris by train, was first published in 2018. The updated second edition in full colour containing 12 trips was published in 2023.

10 More Trips An Hour From Paris is sold as separate pdfs or as a set exclusively from my website, from where you can download a free sample trip. All these trips were updated in 2023.
