About April Knitting

Hi, I’m Ekaterina, the designer behind April Knitting.

I create crochet and knitting patterns for makers who love turning yarn into something special. These days, I’m especially inspired by amigurumi: tiny characters, soft textures, playful details, and projects that are just as enjoyable to make as they are to look at.

I know how frustrating a pattern can be when you have to guess what the designer meant. That’s why I try to make my patterns clear, practical, and easy to follow.

Depending on the design, my patterns may include:

• Step-by-step written instructions
• Detailed photos
• Stitch counts
• Materials and yarn recommendations
• Helpful video tutorials for selected techniques

My goal is simple: I want you to open the pattern, pick up your hook or needles, and feel excited to start rather than worried about getting stuck.
