About Me
My name is Artur Gevorkjan, and I’m a young entrepreneur focused on breaking the cycle of unrecognized pressure that causes kids to burn out in sports at an early age.
Whether it’s football, basketball, or tennis, many young athletes slowly lose their love for the sport. Passion turns into obligation, and most kids don’t understand why it’s happening — they just know something feels wrong.
The Star That Burned Out uses tennis as a case study. In this book, I analyze my own sports journey in depth, how constant pressure changed my relationship with the game, why I developed resentment toward it, and the long-term consequences that followed.
This book is the foundation of a future consultancy, where my team and I will work with families to identify and resolve issues that can quietly lead to burnout, before it’s too late.
