My name is Sophia Gaki and I am the founder of Astraea Evolutionary Astrology.

My work brings together Evolutionary Astrology, Hermetic philosophy and depth psychology to explore the deeper forces that shape human life. I work with the birth chart as a map of the archetypal dynamics present at the moment of incarnation, revealing the patterns of development, tension and growth that unfold throughout a person’s life.

My approach is influenced by the psychological tradition of Carl Jung, whose work recognised the living reality of archetypes and the profound relationship between the human psyche and the greater order of existence. Jung’s understanding of the unconscious, symbolism and the process of individuation has deeply informed the way I interpret astrology. His work as a mystic, alchemist and psychotherapist opened a path for understanding the structure of human consciousness and the forces that shape personality and destiny.

My background also includes training in counselling skills, psychotherapy and hypnotherapy, studies that deepened my understanding of emotional processes and psychological patterns. These disciplines influence the way I practice astrology today, allowing my work to integrate astrological insight with a grounded understanding of the human psyche.

Alongside this work, music has played a central role in my life for more than a decade. I worked as a musician and percussionist, an experience that cultivated a strong sense of rhythm, structure and attentive listening. In many ways this perspective translates naturally into astrology, where multiple archetypal forces interact to create the unique pattern of an individual life.

I am also the author of two books exploring astrology and consciousness:

• The Cosmic Mirror, which bridges astrology and spiritual philosophy without jargon, inviting people to experience astrology as a path of consciousness and
• Chiron: The Wound of the Ego, a study of Chiron as the wound of the ego and the transformative process that emerges through it.

Through Astraea Evolutionary Astrology, I offer consultations, mini soul reports and mentoring for individuals who wish to engage with their chart in a deeper and more conscious way. My intention is to help people understand the forces shaping their lives and work with them more intentionally.

This work continues to evolve through study, reflection and the many conversations that arise when people begin to recognise the deeper patterns active within their lives.
