About Me
Karen Jamison has spent more than three decades in the trenches of real business — not theorizing about growth, but being responsible for it when the pressure was real and the consequences mattered.
She is a CPA-trained growth strategist who has led four startups, launched fourteen national brands, and been brought in repeatedly during moments most leaders hope to avoid: stalled growth, fragile revenue, restructures, turnarounds, and transitions with little margin for error. In those environments, there is no room for hype — only for what works.
Her work has contributed to rapid turnarounds and sustained triple-digit growth across global brands such as Ducati, Engel & Völkers, and Nordstrom, as well as dozens of privately held service-based businesses where the owner’s livelihood — and family — depended on getting it right.
Over time, a clear pattern emerged:
the fastest path to stability and growth was almost always subtraction — not addition.
That realization led Karen to create the Small Business Mastery Series™ — a body of work designed to help entrepreneurs run their businesses with greater wisdom, efficiency, and calm authority, so their businesses can support the lives they envisioned when they started.
Karen lives in Vancouver and enjoys dividing her time between Vancouver, Whistler, and Mexico.
She’s a proud mother, a lifelong animal lover, an ex ski bum, a devoted kitchen dancer, and someone who believes work should be serious — but never joyless.
She laughs easily, mostly at herself, and considers it a privilege to help business owners reclaim both their revenue and their lives.
